National Sales Executive (Hunter role)
- Job Description / Key Responsibilities:

- Hunt and secure new shipper accounts, then hand off to brokers for day-to-day execution

Potential leadership role could involve building and scaling a new office (sales + team development)

Salary & Commission Structure:
- Sales execs: Historically $45 to 70K base for inexperienced to mid-level hires; 5% of revenue from accounts landed for the first year (sometimes descending over 2 to 3 years)

Open to structuring competitive packages for the right experienced hire (typical top-tier sales comp in the $75 - 125K base range + performance incentives

Location: Primarily Arroyo Grande, CA office, but open to remote for proven brokers/salespeople

Relocation Offered: Possible but difficult due to high cost of living on the CA coast. Open to building satellite offices in AZ, TX, TN, FL.

Position Requirements / Ideal Candidate Profile:
-
Experienced proven freight sales hunter with strong phone presence and cold-calling ability

Knowledge of reefer, food ingredients, and van freight highly preferred
-
Ability to build & grow a book of business, ideally portable relationships

Ethical, team-oriented, and resilient in a high-touch brokerage environment

For branch leader role: Track record of scaling a team or building a book/branch

Deep industry knowledge (preferably refrigerated/food sector)

Proven ability to generate business (not just maintain accounts)
