Responsibilities

  • Design and prepare engineering drawings, reports, and specifications for structural projects such as bridges, retaining walls, and culverts.

  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

  • Perform quantity and cost estimate calculations.

  • Manage client relationships.

  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of structural designs completed by others.

  • Assist with business development efforts, client interactions, and proposal preparation.

  • Support the growth and professional development of the Indiana Bridge/Structures section.

  • Collaborate with internal teams on the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects.

  • Ensure client satisfaction through strong communication and quality assurance.

  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required

  • 710 years of related experience in bridge/structures design, analysis, load rating, and inspection

  • Proven track record leading bridge/structural projects for INDOT, county DOTs, and local municipalities

  • Entrepreneurial mindset committed to growing the Indiana Bridge/Structures program

  • Proficiency in MicroStation/OpenBridge and other related software
