Our client, a world-class logistics provider, is looking for a highly skilled and relationship-driven Global Key Account Manager to take charge of one of its most strategic partnerships: a global leader in the Japanese electronics industry. This role offers full commercial ownership, international visibility, and the opportunity to lead complex, multi-service solutions across air, sea, road, and contract logistics.

What Youll Do:

  • Serve as the global relationship owner for a marquee Japanese electronics client, coordinating all services across business units.

  • Build and execute strategic account plans aligned with the customers evolving supply chain needs.

  • Develop and maintain trusted, senior-level relationships with key stakeholders at headquarters and regional offices.

  • Drive business growth through consultative selling, solution design, and cross-service collaboration.

  • Manage complex commercial negotiations and ensure compliance with contract and service-level agreements.

  • Oversee internal alignment with regional and global Network Key Account Managers to ensure consistency and excellence.

  • Monitor performance across key metrics, including financial health, operational KPIs, RFP wins/losses, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Represent the voice of the customer within the organization to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.

What You Bring:

  • Fluency in Japanese and English is mandatory.  You will engage daily with senior Japanese stakeholders and global counterparts.

  • 7+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with a strong background in key account management.

  • Proven success managing large, strategic accounts ideally in electronics or technology sectors.

  • Deep knowledge of international supply chains and logistics operations (Air, Sea, Road, Contract Logistics).

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations.

  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, and the ability to influence outcomes across global teams.

  • Driven, customer-focused, and comfortable operating at the executive level.
