Industrial Automation & Digital Transformation Intern

Job Description & Key Duties

The intern will support digital transformation and automation initiatives within production operations. The role focuses on practical application of AI, data analytics, and automation planning.

Key Duties:

- Identify automation opportunities within production workflows

- Develop proof-of-concept AI or automation solutions

- Analyze production data (yield, downtime, quality)

- Support AI use-case design and data preparation

- Assist in digitalization of production planning

- Prepare documentation and presentations for management

Required Skills / Tech Stack

Preferred Background:

- Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems

Technical Skills:

- Excel, Python, SQL

- Basic Machine Learning & statistics

- Power BI / Tableau / Power Automate

- Process mapping & industrial systems knowledge

Soft Skills:

- Analytical mindset

- Strong learning agility

- Good communication skills

Interns will be working onsite in our Yuen Long plant.

It will be under STEM Internship Program.
