Manager - Internal Risk and Compliance

Job Description

• Review commercial agreements (e.g., client contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, tender documents) to identify legal and compliance risks.
• Collaborate with finance, HR, IT and operational teams to ensure integrated risk and compliance practices.
• Investigate and report compliance breaches, conflicts of interest, and ethical concerns.
• Support business continuity planning and incident response processes.
• Deliver training and awareness programs on compliance, ethics, and risk management.
• Implement and manage risk and compliance systems to meet industry and regulatory standards.
• Keep track of changes in laws and regulations and update company policies to stay compliant.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related is preferred
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CAMS, ICA, or legal qualifications are preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or internal audit in a corporate environment.
• Experience reviewing commercial agreements and identifying contractual risks, which can give advice in balancing the commercial environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High ethical standards and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret legal language and assess contractual obligations.
