By submitting an application to TSC, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1) Accuracy of information
I certify that all information I provide (application, resume, interviews, forms, documents) is true and complete. I understand that false, misleading, or omitted information may result in disqualification or termination of consideration or engagement.
2) Eligibility to work in Canada
I confirm I am legally eligible to work in Canada and will provide proof of eligibility if requested.
3) No promise of employment/engagement
Submitting an application does not create an employment or contractor relationship, guarantee an interview, trial, offer, or any minimum hours. Any employment or contractor engagement, if offered, will be governed by a separate written agreement.
4) Communications & electronic delivery
I consent to receive application-related communications from TSC (e.g., email, SMS, phone, in-app). I may opt out of non-essential messages at any time. Electronic signatures and electronic delivery of documents are valid and binding.
5) References & verifications
I authorize TSC to contact references and former supervisors and to verify education, employment history, and relevant professional credentials. I release those parties and TSC from liability for good-faith communications related to my suitability.
6) Background checks (with separate consent)
I understand that a police/criminal record check and other lawful screenings (e.g., driving record for driving roles) may be requested after a conditional offer and only with my separate written consent. An offer may be rescinded based on results consistent with applicable law.
7) Privacy & data handling (PIPEDA/Ontario)

TSC collects and uses my personal information for recruiting, selection, onboarding, compliance, and, if hired/engaged, for HR/contractor administration.

TSC may share my data with service providers used for recruiting and onboarding (e.g., ATS and onboarding platforms) under confidentiality obligations and only for these purposes.

9) Employee vs. Independent Contractor pathways
I understand my application may be considered for Employee (T4) or Independent Contractor (IC) opportunities.

Employees (T4): Are scheduled/paid as employees under applicable employment standards; details will be in an employment agreement.

Independent Contractors: Operate an independent business, control their schedule and methods, provide their own tools/supplies (unless otherwise stated), invoice for services, and are responsible for their own taxes/HST and insurance, as applicable. Terms will be set out in a contractor agreement.
10) Confidentiality & client protection
If I attend interviews, trials, or onboarding, I will keep all client information, access codes, and TSC materials confidential. I will not record inside client homes or share images without explicit permission.
11) Health & safety
I will follow reasonable health, safety, and cleanliness standards, including product handling instructions and any site-specific rules provided by TSC.
12) Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada.
