Job Title: Home Health Aide (HHA) (CNA)

Job Summary:

Our client a well-founded home health care agency, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide to assist clients in their homes with daily living activities and basic health-related services. The ideal candidate will help promote independence, safety, and overall well-being in a respectful and supportive manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

  • Support with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.

  • Prepare and serve meals following dietary guidelines.

  • Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands as needed.

  • Monitor and record changes in the clients condition or behavior.

  • Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.

  • Remind clients to take prescribed medications (no administration).

  • Follow care plans as directed by healthcare professionals.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Completion of state-approved Home Health Aide training program preferred.
  • Current HHA certification preferred.

  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

  • At least 1 year of proven experience in home care or a similar role.

  • Ability to lift, move, and assist clients up to 25 pounds.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Reliable transportation and valid drivers license required for certain tasks.
