About the Role
Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for a proactive and technically skilled Emergency Response and Risk Management Staff to join our Emergency and Risk Management group. This role is ideal for engineering graduates especially those with a background in process engineering who are passionate about safety, emergency preparedness, and continuous improvement.
General Responsibilities of the Section
As part of the Emergency and Risk Management group, you will be involved in:
- Emergency preparedness and response activities (trainings and response bridge management)
- Emergency rescue and firefighting equipment planning and management
- Risk management audits (internal & external)
- Legal and internal audit compliance
- Fire incident investigation, reporting, and information sharing
- Fire Incident Yokoten and Yarikiri
- Planning, execution, and reflection of company-wide emergency drills and exercises
- Severe weather monitoring and advisory
- Hot Work Permit evaluation, approval, and monitoring
- Improvement project planning and execution
Key Responsibilities of the Role
You will specifically handle:
- Equipment Planning, Renewal, and Maintenance
- Mapping and visualizing equipment status
- Evaluation and recommendation (short, mid, and long-term plans)
- Progress monitoring and action implementation
- System Improvement Technical Assistance
- Evaluation of existing procedures and improvements
- Setting of standards and adjustments
- Training Activities
- Planning and development of training programs
- Documentation and Reporting
- Daily safety patrols and progress reports
- Preparation of concept papers and project status updates
- Coordination and Support
- Facilitation of project coordination
- Coordination with area owners regarding changepoints and area development
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial Engineering)
- Open to fresh graduates with a background in process engineering
Technical Skills
- Ability to interpret building plans and drawings
- Understanding of fire suppression systems and piping layouts
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical plans
- Strong grasp of time studies and identifying improvement points
Computer Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and application development
- Knowledge in design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp
Preferred Experience
- Emergency response and firefighting
- Time study and process improvement
- First aid and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Conducting training and education sessions
Other Requirements
- Willing to rotate between Santa Rosa, Laguna and Batangas
- Amenable to flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Must report onsite
- Licensed driver or willing to acquire driving skills
