Toyota Motor Philippines is seeking an Outbound Transport Planner to join our Vehicle Logistics – Distribution Planning and Control Department located at the Santa Rosa Vehicle Center in Toyota Motor Philippines City, Philippines.
As a key member of the Transport Planning Team, the Outbound Transport Planner collaborates closely with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) and internal stakeholders to maintain stable distribution operations and continuously improve logistics performance.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule daily outbound vehicle deliveries from vehicle centers to dealers in alignment with distribution requirements and priorities
- Ensure transportation resources, fleet capacity, and manpower are available and optimized to support scheduled operations.
- Manage special transfer requests, including inter‑hub transfers, satellite operations, and promotional or special distribution activities.
Dispatch & Capacity Management
- Develop and implement effective dispatch strategies to optimize vehicle movement across dealer networks.
- Coordinate closely with LSP Points of Contact to align dispatch plans, resolve capacity constraints, and address operational issues.
- Monitor outbound execution to ensure adherence to estimated delivery schedules and operational guidelines.
Cost Control & Performance Monitoring
- Identify and implement cost‑reduction opportunities by optimizing routes, improving loading efficiency, and leveraging available transport resources.
- Monitor transportation performance using key metrics such as delivery compliance, utilization, and service reliability.
- Support evaluation of Logistics Service Providers through performance monitoring and data‑based reviews.
Process Improvement & Stakeholder Coordination
- Continuously review and enhance outbound logistics procedures to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and service quality.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth outbound flow.
- Provide timely and accurate information on outbound delivery status and changes to concerned stakeholders.

Skills required:
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a related field is expected.
- Expert in SAP/ERP (or other ERP systems), Microsoft Excel (spreadsheet design), PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, and MS Office automation
- Proficient in transportation scheduling, outbound distribution planning, capacity utilization, route planning/simulation, and cost-efficient planning
- Skilled in scheduling optimization, routing, and simulation for decision support.
- Adept at using technical software like Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is an advantage.
