About the job Social Media Manager
We are seeking a Social Media Manager for a full time and direct hire role for one of our amazing partners in South Florida (this is a hybrid onsite role).
You will be responsible for the entire social media strategy, which includes influencer management, partner collaborations, day-to-day operations, video production, creating social media posts, community management, and performance reporting. You will maintain a social media calendar and adjust the strategy as promotions and launches are announced. You will report on trending topics, hashtags, and content with suggestions for how to leverage the trends in the company's content.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee cross-platform community management, including communicating with followers by responding to comments, questions, and overall interactions from the audience.
- Maintain and grow social accounts across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn to increase brand awareness, follower count, and revenue.
- Proactively engage with partner accounts, industry content creators, and other influential accounts to increase brand engagement and exposure.
- Vet and manage influencer partnerships to ensure that the influencer content is on-brand. This includes monitoring its performance and posting and reposting content on social media platforms.
- Work on social content development, which includes planning, building, and maintaining a social media calendar to identify key dates and events and create content strategically around them.
- Collaborate with the in-house marketing team and manufacturers business partner teams to brainstorm on-brand and relevant content ideas to further support marketing campaigns, promotions, and department initiatives.
- Create original outdoor and indoor content tailored for each platform, including copy, photos, and videos.
- Create content for social platforms by leveraging new technologies and trends.
- Collaborate with freelance, partners, and in-house content creators to craft original posts.
- Develop, maintain, and manage social advertising for relevant campaigns as needed.
- Share insight reports and communicate key findings with leadership by establishing KPIs for organic and paid performance and analyzing key metrics to measure audience engagement and sentiment.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in Marketing, social media, and Communications, or other related disciplines.
- Strong focus on B2B social media with some B2C as well.
- Experience with social ad management, developing & creating strategies around platform content, strong community management skills, and exposure to a lot of marketing strategy tactics using social to grow a business.
- Ability to build a social strategy that can deliver real business results, and an understanding of how to use that data to drive revenue to the business.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Graphic Design skills preferred.
- WordPress, CMS and/or Page Builder familiarity preferred.
- Must be familiar with drones and have or obtain a Part 107 drone license prior to employment.
- Hybrid position working MWF in the office, with additional in-office days as required.
- Ability to travel as needed (estimated to be 2-6x/year).
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field
