We are seeking a Data Scientist for a full time and direct hire role for one of our amazing partners in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area. This is a hybrid role that will require you to work onsite 3 days a week.


Responsibilities:

  • Data Modeling by crafting and managing data models to guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and scalability across their systems.
  • Research, design, and develop AI/ML algorithms and models to optimize media channel mix recommendations and to optimize budget spend recommendations within the digital marketing platform.
  • Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify trends that inform model development and improvement.
  • Work closely with data engineers to preprocess and transform data for model training and deployment.
  • Implement and deploy production-ready AI/ML models, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and iterate on model improvements based on feedback and real-world outcomes.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and methodologies and integrate relevant innovations into their platform.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience developing AI/ML models for real-world applications. Bonus if you have experience in the digital marketing space.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
  • Hands-on experience in libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data preprocessing techniques.
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing frameworks (Ex: Spark).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services for AI/ML model development and deployment.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing concepts and metrics (Ex: ROI, CTR and ROAS) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
