THE ROLE

Senior Consultant will partner with Tradebeyond Software retail clients key business users and IT organizations to design, configure, test and implement value-added business solutions built on the Tradebeyond/CBX platform. You will understand the digital goals of some of retails biggest names, from the high level down to the minutiae. Effectively and creatively translating these business goals into requirements that will be met by your roadmap of strategic consultancy and conversion optimization campaigns. You will deliver results and insight to demonstrate overarching value from customer investment.

Working with our team of consultants, you will operate in both an individual contributor and lead role, to ensure customers achieve their agreed optimization goals; including increasing overall revenue, speed to market and cost reduction and providing guidance on their overall product development and supply chain strategy. You will leverage a range of analysis, testing and optimization techniques to help achieve your customers goals.

In addition, you will drive demand for Tradebeyond Consultancy, identifying opportunities where additional support and guidance from the Tradebeyond Consulting team will be beneficial to client success. Meanwhile, maintaining strong relationships with client senior stakeholders and full awareness of their shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the key assigned initiative for the customer in either a project implementation lead or workstream lead capacity (1 complex customer or multiple small or standard customers at a time)
  • Create project timelines, manage implementation milestones and ensure quality deliverables for small or standard customers with support of a Project Director
  • Work with Implementation Lead and Project Director to create workstream milestones, manage workstream milestones and ensure quality deliverables for complex projects with multiple workstreams.
  • Manage the Project P&L and Partner with Customer Success Team on client escalation, upsell and cross-sell opportunities for small and standard customers
  • Ensure workstream is delivered according to P&L targets set by the Implementation Lead and Project Director for Complex projects
  • Maintain value-oriented, business, and technical goals set forth by the customer
  • Proactively manage expectations with customer, colleagues, third parties, consulting partners
  • Manage overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverable expectation are clearly communicated
  • Able to translate customer business requirements into functional specification for handover to Product and Development teams
  • Configure the CBX application to support the jointly defined future state client business process
  • Complete testing of configuration and application related client deliverables
  • Build Train the Trainer (TT) training materials and deliver TTT training sessions
  • Effectively balance the needs of the customer, as well as the direction and the needs of the company to ensure financial viability of the project
  • Handle customer escalations and raise escalations to the Project Implementation Lead or Project Director
  • Ability to interface with users at all levels of the organization, including Senior Management (C-Level), to make recommendations so that projects can be delivered on time and on budget.
  • Provide Customer and TradeBeyond Executive Stakeholders project feedback regularly
  • Able to act as a coach for junior project team members and ensure their deliverables are delivered with quality and on time
  • Ensure accurate and timely administrative reporting (Forecasting, Time Submission)

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree. Preferably in Engineering, Business, Information System, Information Technology or other related discipline
  • Excellent analytical skill and customer/user management skill is required, especially the ability to analyse business workflow and process
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
  • Demonstrate skilled problem-solving capabilities to determine solutions and options to resolve problems in a fast moving environment
  • Self-motivated character with can-do attitude and proven multi-tasking ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Proven history of ability to work cross functionality and collaborate with other departments and teams 

You will have an advantage if you are / have:

  • Project Management experience working with a software solution. Expertise with multiple delivery methodologies including Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid. Certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP a plus.
  • Proven experience of project management tools (e.g. Confluence / JIRA)
  • Familiarity with some or all of these technologies a plus: SQL, JSON
  • Familiarity in Agile Development, particularly Scrum or Kanban
  • Enterprise Retail / Consumer products experience (business or information technology) a plus
  • Immediately available
