About the role
This will be a full-time Middle Office Analyst role based in Sydney, NSW. As a Middle Office Analyst, you will play a crucial part in the settlements team, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of trades and transactions.
What you'll be doing
- Reconcile and validate trade and transaction data to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Process and settle trades and transactions in a timely manner
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Assist with the maintenance and improvement of operational processes and procedures
- Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the company's settlements systems and tools
- Provide support and guidance to more junior members of the settlements team
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a middle office or settlements role within the financial services industry
- Strong understanding of trade and transaction processing, settlement cycles, and compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in the use of relevant financial systems and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred
