About the role

This will be a full-time Middle Office Analyst role based in Sydney, NSW. As a Middle Office Analyst, you will play a crucial part in the settlements team, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of trades and transactions.

What you'll be doing

  1. Reconcile and validate trade and transaction data to ensure accuracy and compliance
  2. Process and settle trades and transactions in a timely manner
  3. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies
  4. Assist with the maintenance and improvement of operational processes and procedures
  5. Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the company's settlements systems and tools
  6. Provide support and guidance to more junior members of the settlements team

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a middle office or settlements role within the financial services industry
  2. Strong understanding of trade and transaction processing, settlement cycles, and compliance requirements
  3. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  4. Proficient in the use of relevant financial systems and tools
  5. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  6. Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred
