About the job ServiceNow Engineer

  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, CSM, HRSD, and SecOps modules.
  • Develop custom applications, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, workflow automations, and catalog items to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Manage ServiceNow configurations, upgrades, patches, and performance tuning to maintain system stability and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain REST/SOAP integrations with third-party applications, enterprise systems, and cloud services.
  • Configure and maintain ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, asset tracking, and service mapping.
  • Implement and optimize ServiceNow Discovery, Event Management, and Orchestration to automate IT processes.
  • Utilize Flow Designer, Script Includes, and Glide APIs to automate workflows and enhance system functionality.
  • Work with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and security policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow performance issues, integrations failures, and system errors.
  • Provide technical guidance, documentation, and training to end-users and internal teams.

  • Skills Required:
  •  - Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer.
  • Hands-on experience with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, Service Catalog, and Service Portal.
  •  - Deep knowledge of REST/SOAP web services, JSON, XML, OAuth, and integration with third-party systems.
  •  - Expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, asset tracking, and service mapping.
  • Ability to customize Service Portal, widgets, and dashboards using AngularJS, HTML, CSS.
  •  - Experience in system tuning, access control (ACLs), role-based permissions, and security best practices.
  •  - Ability to handle platform upgrades, patching, cloning, and data migration.
  • - Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Scheduled Jobs, and Automated Workflows.
  • - Experience working in Scrum/Agile environments using ServiceNow SDLC module.
  • - Experience with Discovery, Event Management, Orchestration workflows, and Automation Playbooks.
