Junior Legal Counsel (Onsite - Bucharest)

We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, a leading full-service advisory firm with over 16 years of experience in the Romanian market. Their objective is to be the go-to counsel for middle-market international clients, private equity, investment firms as well as entrepreneurs and family offices.

Their strength in the middle market enables them to advise clients at all stages of development from start-up, rapid growth, and expansion, to transition.

Responsibilities

• Assist lawyers and senior advisors in legal and compliance matters.

• Conduct company analysis and participate in identification processes, including real beneficiaries.

• Support in opening and managing bank accounts.

• Handle corporate registry-related filings and procedures.

• Assist with portfolio management

• Prepare and review legal documentation under the supervision of senior lawyers.

• Collaborate closely with the team of lawyers and provide administrative/legal support where necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience as a paralegal, junior legal advisor, or in a related role.

• Background in either law firms or banks, with exposure to compliance, corporate analysis, and KYC (Know Your Customer) processes.

• Proven experience in working with lawyers and legal teams.

• Strong knowledge of corporate law and procedures involving the Trade Registry.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Fluency in Romanian and good command of English (spoken and written).
