ISQM1 Internal Auditor (Bucharest / on-site)

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading full-service advisory firm with over 16 years of experience in the Romanian market. Their mission is to be the trusted counsel for middle-market international clients, private equity funds, investment firms, entrepreneurs, and family offices. With strong expertise in the middle market, the firm advises clients throughout all stages of development: from start-up, rapid growth, and expansion, to transition.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design a system of quality management that is tailored to the nature and circumstances of the firm and engagements it performs, respecting the ISQM 1 (International Standard on Quality Management) standards

· Assist the Audit Director and/or Audit Partner in the detailed planning of individual project audit engagements;

· Perform the full audit cycle, including risk management and control management over operations effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with applicable regulations;

· Examine and improve operating practices, financial processes and risk management;· Execute audit assignments and projects as part of the team, or independently for less complex or routine activities and projects;

· Assist in the verification of financial statements and reporting;· Participate to business and internal control understanding of the audited companies;

· Prepare reports of audit findings for business managers, and propose recommendations for changes as needed;

· Use BI and internal analytical tools for performing analysis and documenting the audit work on the financial data;

What Were Looking For:

· Bachelors degree required

· 3-4 years of experience on a similar position (previous experience in a consultancy organization would be an advantage)

· Excellent critical thinking, intellectual curiosity and problem-solving abilities· Strong research, analytical and report writing skills

· High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and curiosity for technology and automation

· Strong personal initiative, agility and resourcefulness.
