We are recruiting on behalf of our client - a technology independent consulting company specializing in data & analytics, including business intelligence (BI), data warehousing, data science/AI, CRM/MarTech, and process automation across the entire data value chain.

They have over 20 years of experience and more than 700 employees serving 950+ data driven clients across Europe.

What to Expect

  • You design end-to-end solutions based on Databricks combined with one of the three hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP) and develop standards for your clients.

  • Teamwork is key! You will work closely with a variety of colleagues, such as our Data Engineers, Data Architects, and AWS/GCP/Azure experts.

  • To provide the best possible advice to your clients, you stay up to date and keep pace with the Databricks feature roadmap.

  • You optimize both performance and costs through your expertise in the optimal use of all Databricks functionalities.

  • You can look forward to a rapidly growing b.telligent Databricks community with regular exchanges about new features, best practices, and tricky challenges from client projects.

What You Bring

  • You love data and are just as passionate about cloud solutions as we are!

  • You have hands-on experience in building data platforms, data lakes, or data warehouses, preferably using Spark, Python, and SQL.

  • Databricks is your thing, and you shine with valuable knowledge in areas like infrastructure, workspace setup, and the underlying cloud.

  • You can also easily handle topics such as connecting source systems, designing a medallion architecture, or serving different user personas.

  • You are familiar with different architectural approaches, such as Lakehouse, Lambda, or classic data warehouses.

  • You have a solid understanding of DevOps practices and experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

  • Communication is your strength! You enjoy presenting your ideas (in both German and English) and are skilled at making technical concepts accessible to a non-technical audience.
