Senior Accountant Consultant

We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients - a leading full service advisory firm with over 16 years of experience in the Romanian market.

Their objective is to be the go-to counsel for middle market international clients, private equity, investment firms as well as entrepreneurs and family offices.

Their strength in the middle market enables the, to advise clients at all intervals of development from start-up to rapid growth and expansion, to transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the verification of accurate accounting reports and supporting documentation, as automatically received from the client;
• Managing a portfolio of clients and the relationship with them, providing consultancy on specific matters and helping maintain correct accounting registrations;
• Identify solutions to problems, opportunities, or issues raised
• Ensure work is complete within the specified time frame and manage risk before the deadline where work is falling behind schedule Providing and interpreting financial information
• Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
• Managing the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
• Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
• Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g., auditors, solicitors, bankers, and statutory organizations
• Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the Accounting practice.

What Were Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in a similar role;
• Prior experience in consultancy will be preferable;
• Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken;
• Proficiency in MS Excel and the ability to work with deadlines;
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of business;
