Our client is an international clearance company with over 18 years of experience. They offer solutions to business owners from 27 countries to capitalize on their unsold stocks (short expiry date products, end-of-line stock, past collections, canceled orders, etc.).

Role Overview:
The BI & Data Warehouse Architect is responsible for the design, evolution, and optimization of the Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse architecture, ensuring reliable, scalable, and high-quality data solutions that support business decision-making.
This role combines hands-on technical expertise (data modeling, ETL, BI tools) with architectural ownership, working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and management to ensure data consistency, performance, and usability across reporting platforms.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is a BI & DW Architect with strong hands-on experience, capable of owning data models and ETL flows end-to-end, while contributing to the architectural consistency and evolution of the BI ecosystem. The role suits a senior, detail-oriented professional seeking stability and long-term impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, maintain, and evolve the Data Warehouse and BI architecture in line with business needs and best practices.
- Lead data modeling activities (conceptual, logical, and physical models) to support analytical and reporting use cases.
- Develop, review, and optimize ETL processes to ensure data quality, performance, and reliability.
- Ensure consistency and governance of data structures, definitions, and reporting standards.
- Contribute to BI solution design and review, supporting platforms such as Cognos Analytics and Power BI.
- Act as a technical reference for BI & DW topics, providing guidance and performing peer reviews.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable BI/DW solutions.
- Monitor performance, data integrity, and usage, proactively identifying improvement opportunities.
- Participate in BI and data-related projects, from design to implementation and stabilization.
Tools & Technologies
- ETL tools (enterprise-level ETL experience required)
- BI Platforms: Cognos Analytics, Power BI (shadow / complementary usage)
- Data modeling tools & techniques
- SQL and relational database concepts
- Experience with enterprise data environments is a strong plus
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum mid to senior-level experience in BI, Data Warehouse, or Analytics architecture roles
- University degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong expertise in data modeling (star/snowflake schemas, dimensional modeling)
- Proven experience with ETL design, development, and optimization
- Solid knowledge of BI reporting and analytics platforms
- Ability to review, validate, and improve existing BI/DW solutions
- English: B2–C1 (spoken and written)
- High attention to detail and data quality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
