We are looking for a strategic Engineering Manager for our client, a multinational production company, specialised in smart springs. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manages investment budgets for the transfer and launch of new products/projects.
  • Defines and cascades departmental and individual objectives.
  • Coordinates the activities of process engineers and ensures performance targets are met.
  • Optimizes the allocation of production capacities and equipment.
  • Plans and manages personnel resources; coordinates training and evaluation of the team.
  • Oversees the implementation of new projects (equipment, validations, process improvements).
  • Ensures a safe working environment and contributes to the zero-accidents goal.
  • Issues/updates procedures and work instructions for responsible processes.
  • Prepares administrative documentation for subordinate employees.
  • Monitors the progress of projects within the department and reports on progress.

Candidate Profile:

  • 5-10 years of experience in engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA.
  • Experience in coordinating teams and managing complex technical projects.
  • Higher technical education (mechanics, mechatronics, industrial engineering, etc.).
  • Leadership, communication, and results-oriented skills.
  • Technical knowledge of industrial processes and equipment.

Advantages:

  • Experience in IATF 16949 certified manufacturing environments.
