About the job Engineering Manager
We are looking for a strategic Engineering Manager for our client, a multinational production company, specialised in smart springs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manages investment budgets for the transfer and launch of new products/projects.
- Defines and cascades departmental and individual objectives.
- Coordinates the activities of process engineers and ensures performance targets are met.
- Optimizes the allocation of production capacities and equipment.
- Plans and manages personnel resources; coordinates training and evaluation of the team.
- Oversees the implementation of new projects (equipment, validations, process improvements).
- Ensures a safe working environment and contributes to the zero-accidents goal.
- Issues/updates procedures and work instructions for responsible processes.
- Prepares administrative documentation for subordinate employees.
- Monitors the progress of projects within the department and reports on progress.
Candidate Profile:
- 5-10 years of experience in engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA.
- Experience in coordinating teams and managing complex technical projects.
- Higher technical education (mechanics, mechatronics, industrial engineering, etc.).
- Leadership, communication, and results-oriented skills.
- Technical knowledge of industrial processes and equipment.
Advantages:
