About the job Investment Analyst

Job Purpose:

The analyst / associate handles most of the financial modeling and initial due diligence for investment opportunities, while assisting with the management and monitoring of portfolio companies as well as supporting transactions.

Job Description:

  • Perform industry research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in target markets.
  • Monitor the performance of portfolio companies through monthly performance update reports, KPIs, and operational metrics.
  • Provide recommendations for value creation and growth strategies within portfolio companies.
  • Develop detailed financial models, including DCF, LBO, financial analysis and sensitivity analyses, to assess investment viability.
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
  • Support deal structuring, negotiation, and documentation processes.

Qualifications & Required Skills:

  • 3-5 Years of experience in the investment field
  • MBA, CFA, or CAIA in progress is preferable

  • Advanced Financial Modeling Expertise
  • Crafting Engaging and Professional Presentations.
  • Company valuation using multiple DCF methods, and relative valuation methods.
  • Strong accounting knowledge.
  • Time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Understanding of financial markets mechanisms and structures.
  • Understanding the M&A Transactions Process
  • Research and analysis of market, commodity, industry, and macroeconomic data.
