Financial Services Associate Lawyer (Transactional Finance)

We are retained by Moore & Van Allen, an Am Law 200 finance powerhouse, to add 1–7 year Associates to its Financial Services practice. This role is for lawyers who already operate at speed. You must come from an Am Law 200 firm with real exposure to syndicated credit facilities, leveraged finance transactions, and complex commercial lending. Expect institutional deal flow across a five-group finance platform serving Fortune 500 and global financial clients. This is not a training role. If you need deal mechanics explained, this will be uncomfortable.

Bar admission is non-negotiable: NC or SC (hybrid) or GA (remote). Strong academics required (T50 or top Southeast regional). Litigation, regulatory, or non-Am Law backgrounds will not clear the bar. Compensation ranges $155K–$340K, experience-aligned. If you're optimizing for low intensity, rigid hours, or brand-name proximity without responsibility, stop here.
