Position: Automation Technician

Location: Waterloo, IA

Salary: $30-40/hour

Summary: The Automation Technician supports the facility's electrical and controls infrastructure, implements new processes, and optimizes automation inventory.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure adherence to electrical codes and perform electrical PMs.

- Assist with control system start-up and commissioning.

- Identify and repair critical facility electrical systems and programming problems.

- Create and read ladder logic and flow diagrams.

- Troubleshoot and support PLCs, HMIs/SCADA systems, communications, and databases.

- Develop process control flow and piping and instrumentation diagrams.

Requirements:

- 2-year degree in Industrial Controls or Electrical related field.

- All experience levels are welcome.

- Knowledge of NFPA 70E and understanding of PLC, HMI, and electrical circuits.

- Ability to work Night Shift and Rotating Schedule 7pm-7:30am.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
