About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team and keep our production facility running smoothly. You'll be responsible for maintaining machinery, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the overall integrity of our building and equipment systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician with strong mechanical, electrical, and HVAC experience looking for a stable role in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on machinery and facility systems
  • Conduct regular inspections on production equipment, HVAC, electrical, and building infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Monitor and manage spare parts inventory; order supplies as needed
  • Maintain maintenance schedules using a Smart Maintenance Program
  • Track maintenance activities, costs, and reports; manage maintenance budgets
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for repairs, services, and upgrades.
  • Ensure safety, fire code, and environmental regulation compliance
  • Recommend process improvements and implement efficiency upgrades

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (production environment preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, hydraulics, and HVAC
  • Proficient in reading mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
  • Hands-on experience with hand tools, air tools, and overhead hoists
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Experience in preventative maintenance systems and processes
  • Comfortable working with safety regulations and inspection protocols
  • Ability to manage budgets, expenses, and maintenance reporting
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with facility management systems and innovative maintenance software.
  • Experience negotiating with and managing outside service providers.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills.
  • Prior experience in safety committee involvement or leading safety initiatives.
