Overview: Seeking a Design Engineer to oversee product design through its life cycle, from concept to customer support. This role involves developing tools and processes for manufacturing, optimizing existing products, and ensuring top-notch product specifications, testing, and prototyping.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design solutions for new/existing products considering manufacturing capabilities and quality standards.
• Use CAD for layouts; Autodesk Inventor & Vault preferred.
• Conduct necessary engineering calculations.
• Create detailed Bill of Materials, part, and assembly drawings.
• Manage multiple projects and Engineering Change Notices within timelines.
• Coordinate manufacturing processes for prototypes and production.
• Contribute to product development processes, including prototyping and testing.
• Assist various departments to ensure project success and provide project support as directed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Mechanical/Agricultural Engineering or related. Associate degree with 5-7 years in equipment design/product development acceptable.
• 5 years' experience in agricultural equipment design/manufacturing.
• Proficiency in 3-D CAD programs; knowledge of steel fabrication, machining processes, welding, and steel/iron castings.
• Experience with ISOBUS systems, control system design, and general farming operations.
• Strong communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
