**Job Overview:**

As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Your expertise and technical knowledge will ensure that our clients enjoy comfortable and efficient indoor environments and that their HVAC systems operate at peak performance.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Diagnostic Assessments:** Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments of HVAC systems to identify issues and determine necessary repairs or maintenance.

2. **Repair and Maintenance:** Perform repairs, maintenance, and replacements of HVAC system components, including compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, and ductwork, to ensure optimal performance.

3. **Installation:** Assist in the installation of new HVAC systems, ensuring that equipment is properly connected and functions as designed.

4. **Troubleshooting:** Troubleshoot HVAC system problems and provide effective and efficient solutions.

5. **Refrigerant Handling:** Properly handle, recover, and recycle refrigerants in accordance with industry standards and environmental regulations.

6. **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of all services, repairs, and installations performed, including parts used and hours worked.

7. **Customer Communication:** Communicate with clients to explain the scope of work, pricing, and repair options. Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.

8. **Safety Compliance:** Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Certification or degree from an accredited HVAC program is preferred.

- State HVAC Technician's License (where required).

- EPA Universal Certification for handling refrigerants.

- 2+ years of HVAC service experience.

- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and components.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
