Location: Des Moines, Iowa

Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 annually

Overview: Lead the design and validation of new products, creating detailed 3D models and drawings for machinery and mechanical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment.
• Oversee design components and system layouts for product improvements.
• Create material specifications and bills of materials.
• Utilize SolidWorks and CAD for design and FEA evaluations.
• Compute mathematical formulas for component designs.
• Update technical publications and reference manuals.
• Manage data in an ERP system for reporting and costing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, DraftSight, and Microsoft Office.
• 10+ years in manufacturing/supply chain engineering with leadership experience.
• Experience with mobile equipment in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Self-motivated team player with problem-solving skills.
