The Role: As a Production Supervisor reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our dynamic team of Production Technicians. Your leadership will not only drive the efficiency and quality of our production operations but also ensure a safe, rewarding, and engaging work environment for our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion a culture of safety and enjoyment, ensuring compliance with PPE policies, maintaining high housekeeping standards, and ensuring a seamless product flow.
  • Oversee the complete Anodizing Process, from material staging to the final storage of the finished product, guaranteeing quality and efficiency at every step.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts, identifying opportunities for enhancements and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Manage quality and health & safety incident investigations, ensuring swift resolution and communication.
  • Optimize team performance through effective staffing, training, and development, fostering a culture of engagement and excellence.
  • Conduct insightful performance evaluations, driving team achievement and growth.
  • Analyze and report on key production and safety metrics, maintaining a visual management board to track and address performance gaps.
  • Ensure effective communication across teams and departments, fostering collaboration and operational coherence.
  • Facilitate daily pre-shift meetings to align team goals and expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience in a leadership role.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma preferred.
  • Experience in anodizing or metal finishing is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, with a knack for securing buy-in on ideas and concepts.
