About the job Insurance Coverage Associate
Traub Lieberman Straus & Shrewsberry is a national law firm with over 90 attorneys across offices nationwide. We offer a comprehensive range of legal services across many practice areas. We are currently seeking an Insurance Coverage Associate with 3-7 years of experience for our downtown St. Petersburg, Florida office. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with commercial general liability and professional liability insurance coverage issues and good-faith claim-handling issues, including independent case management; preparing coverage opinions and coverage position letters and responses to settlement demand letters; drafting pleadings and motions; and attending mediations, case management conferences/court hearings. The successful candidate must possess exceptional research and writing skills, be a well-organized self-starter, and be able to manage tasks and deadlines independently.
Our St. Petersburg Coverage Group is a close-knit team of coverage partners and associates who prioritize teamwork and collegiality. As a member of our team, the attorney will gain valuable hands-on experience and work closely with partners dedicated to fostering their professional growth and development.
Requirements
- 3-7 years of coverage experience
- JD from an accredited university
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Active license to practice law in Florida
