Contract Details:

This is a full-time, contract position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The contract length is negotiable and can range from 6 months to 1 year.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Surgeon to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric surgery and be committed to providing exceptional care to young patients. As a Pediatric Surgeon, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to diagnose and treat a variety of surgical conditions in children.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform surgical procedures on infants, children, and adolescents

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients

- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative consultations with patients and their families

- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency surgeries

- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

- Stay current on advancements and best practices in pediatric surgery

- Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures and post-operative care

Qualifications:

- Medical degree from an accredited university

- Board certification in Pediatric Surgery

- Valid state medical license

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pediatric surgery

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
