Travel Hire is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Denton, TX on a 12-week contract in the Emergency Room. As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, you will play a critical role in providing quality and efficient care to patients in need of immediate medical attention.

Responsibilities:

- Assess and triage patients based on their condition and urgency of care

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques

- Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions

- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Requirements:

- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting

- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-stress situations

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
