Travel Hire is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician - Neonatologist to join our team in Las Vegas, NV on a full-time, 6-month contract. As a leading provider of temporary healthcare staffing solutions, we are dedicated to connecting healthcare professionals with opportunities to make a positive impact in communities across the country.

As a Neonatologist, you will provide specialized medical care to newborn infants who are premature, critically ill, or have other medical conditions requiring intensive care. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for these vulnerable patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and treat newborn infants with a variety of medical conditions

- Monitor and assess the growth and development of premature and critically ill infants

- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed

- Communicate with parents and families about their child's condition and treatment plan

- Work collaboratively with a team of nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

- Attend deliveries and provide immediate care to newborns as needed

- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans

- Document all patient care and treatment plans accurately and timely

- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in the field of neonatology

- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures and maintain a safe and clean work environment

Qualifications:

- Medical degree from an accredited medical school

- Board certification in Neonatology

- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Nevada

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Neonatologist

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-stress environment

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Willingness to travel and work in different healthcare facilities as needed

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records systems
