We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gastroenterologist to join our team for a full-time, 1 year contract at a prestigious medical facility in Ashtabula, OH.

As a Physician Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients with disorders and diseases of the digestive system. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including but not limited to Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and liver disease.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific conditions

- Perform endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopies and upper endoscopies, to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders

- Prescribe medications and provide follow-up care to patients

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, nutritionists, and surgeons, to provide comprehensive care to patients

- Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients

- Stay current on advancements and developments in the field of gastroenterology through continuing education and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

- Medical degree from an accredited medical school

- Valid medical license in the state of Ohio

- Board certification in Gastroenterology

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Gastroenterologist

- Strong diagnostic and treatment skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Willingness to travel and work in different healthcare facilities as needed
