Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Neonatologist to join our team for a 3-month contract in Las Vegas, NV. In this role, you will provide specialized care to newborn infants who require medical attention, including premature infants and those with health complications. This is a full-time position with the potential for extension or permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive care to newborn infants, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans

- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Educate parents and caregivers on proper care for their newborns

- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and conferences

- Maintain accurate and timely medical records

- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

- Stay current with developments and advancements in neonatal medicine through continuing education and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

- Medical degree from an accredited medical school

- Board certification in Neonatology

- Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of Nevada

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Neonatologist

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-stress environment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to make critical decisions

- Flexibility to work varying shifts and on-call as needed
