Physician-Maternal Medicine

Job Description: 50K SIGN ON BONUS 

Travel Hire is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician specializing in Maternal Medicine to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a full-time Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to pregnant women and their unborn babies. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the health and well-being of both mother and baby.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough prenatal screenings and evaluations to monitor the health of pregnant women

- Diagnose and treat any pregnancy-related complications or medical conditions

- Provide guidance and education to expectant mothers on proper nutrition, exercise, and prenatal care

- Monitor fetal development and perform ultrasounds and other diagnostic tests as needed

- Collaborate with OB/GYNs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for each patient

- Perform deliveries and provide postpartum care to both mother and baby

- Keep accurate and detailed medical records of all patient interactions and treatments

- Stay up-to-date on current research and developments in the field of Maternal Medicine

- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to maintain licensure and stay current with medical advancements

- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure they are well-informed and involved in their care

Requirements:

- Medical Degree from an accredited medical school

- Board certification in Maternal Medicine

- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Georgia

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Maternal Medicine

- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current best practices in Maternal Medicine

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients

- Willingness to travel within the Atlanta area as needed
