Job Summary: As a Licensed Mental Health Professional specializing in Crisis & Triage Management, you will provide diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapy for ambulatory mental health services. This includes case management, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic intervention for individuals, families, groups, and/or Intensive Outpatient Programs.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling for individuals, families, groups, and/or Intensive Outpatient Programs.
- Demonstrate clinical competency in a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations using the latest Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
- Determine appropriate levels of care according to clinical needs.
- Assess treatment and prevention of mental disorders, providing information and resources to members with mental health and dual diagnosis disorders.
- Participate in collaborative consultations with interdisciplinary clinical team members to support assessments, treatment planning, and decision-making.
- Maintain a high level of clinical expertise, utilizing best practices in delivery of behavioral health services in accordance with professional and clinical guidelines.
- Maintain written records of therapy, prepare reports and letters, and participate in clinical team meetings, departmental planning, and quality management activities.
- Comply with organizational, departmental, state/federal guidelines, and all regulatory agency policies and procedures.
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of post-degree clinical experience.
- Master's Degree in Marriage and Family therapy or allied field related to the practice of mental health counseling from an accredited college or university.
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Hawaii) OR Mental Health Counselor License (Hawaii).
- Basic Life Support required at hire from American Heart Association.
- National Provider Identifier required at hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with all ages.
- Experience in diagnosing and providing therapeutic services.
- Experience in crisis stabilization.
- Ability to thrive in busy work environments.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
