Travel Hire is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Traveler Registered Nurse to join our team in New York, NY. As a Traveler RN in our MedSurg department, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing care to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care in a MedSurg setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes in condition to the physician

- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

- Active RN license in the state of New York

- Minimum of 2 years of recent MedSurg experience

- BLS certification

- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt to different work environments and patient populations

- Willingness to travel to different facilities within the New York area

- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays
