Must-Haves:

  1. Bachelors degree in medical laboratory science OR Bachelors degree in a chemical, physical, biological science OR Associates degree in another discipline with documented chemistry and biology hours that satisfy CLIA requirements for high complexity testing personnel.
  2. Certifications: BLS required upon hire.
  3. 1 year as MT required.
  4. Medical Laboratory Scientist certification by ASCP or AMT, or HEW(MT), or equivalent certification is required within one year from date of hire. Training/Certification prior to 1988 -Certification program or Military training, ASCP or HEW certification is accepted.

Nice-To-Haves:

  1. 3 years' experience as MT/MLT

Position Summary:
Performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states. Performs any other task as assigned by Management.

Shift: Nights - 10-12 hours shift.
