Physician -Emergency Medicine -Park Rapids, MN

Details:

  • Starting ASAP, 4-6 shifts per month.
  • Both days and nights - 12 hour shifts.
  • Average number of admissions per day? 1-2
  • Support Staff: 2 RNs and 1 CNA
  • ER Volume: 10,000 Annually
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Reason for coverage: PT ER physician retiring at end of December and another FT ER physician leaving for private practice beginning of December
  • Credentialing timeframe: Medical staff temp privileges in 30 days or less, but up to 90 days or more to get them Payor credentialed as well.

  • Travel Section (adjust first part all before "only" on providers needs): "Flights, lodging, and car rental only. - Travel will abide by Travel Policy, except where otherwise indicated below.
  • If Lodging - "Reimbursed by Receipt - Preferred lodging per job description or up 1.5x the GSA rate."
  • If Car rental - "Reimbursed by Receipt - $65 all-in daily cap"
  • If mileage - "IRS Standard rate per CSH guidelines"


Rates to Submit:

  • Malpractice rates - Must be included in the rates.
  • Orientation rate (half the hourly rate, kicks in after 8 hours) - "Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours"
  • Hourly rate - $230-$260 per hour - "Per hour, no OT"
  • Holiday - "1.5x hourly rate, per hour, no OT"
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

ALL OF THE FOLLOWING MUST BE NOTED IN ADDITIONAL SUBMISSION DETAILS AT NAME CLEAR TO BE CONSIDERED AND AVOID BEING REDIRECTED!!

  • Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with ED experience - REQUIRED - SITE WILL REVIEW GENERAL SURGERY WITH ED EXPERIENCE.
  • Active MN License - REQUIRED, OR IMLC (MUST HAVE LOQ IN HAND AT TIME OF SUBMISSION)
  • Active ACLS, PALS - REQUIRED
  • Active ATLS OR CALS with Trauma component certification (Site does not require BOTH, just one or the other.) - REQUIRED
  • Active DEA - REQUIRED
  • Must state availability for Dec-ongoing (# of shifts per month) - REQUIRED
  • Clean Background/malpractice - HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • Disclose if provider has worked at any other CHI/Dignity facility - REQUIRED
  • Covid Vaccinated - REQUIRED
