Physician- Hospitalist/OB

Job Description:

Travel Hire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician specializing in Hospitalist/OB to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a Hospitalist/OB Physician, you will provide comprehensive care to patients admitted to the hospital, with a focus on obstetrics and gynecology cases. This is a full-time, contract position with the opportunity for permanent placement.

Responsibilities:

• - Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients admitted to the hospital, with a focus on obstetrics and gynecology cases
• - Conduct thorough and accurate patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests
• - Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare providers
• - Monitor and manage patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
• - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
• - Document all patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records
• - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in hospital medicine and obstetrics
• - Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committees as needed
• - Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care
• - Maintain a positive and professional attitude while providing care to patients and collaborating with colleagues

Qualifications:

• - Medical degree from an accredited medical school
• - Board certification in Internal Medicine and Obstetrics/Gynecology
• - Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Arizona
• - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Hospitalist/OB Physician
• - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• - Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
• - Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• - Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
• - Willingness to travel and work on a contractual basis
