Physician Hospitalist-OB

Position: Physician Hospitalist-OB

Travel Hire is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Hospitalist-OB to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. As a Hospitalist-OB, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients admitted to the hospital, including labor and delivery services

- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans

- Collaborate with other physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care

- Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic medical records

- Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital policies and protocols

- Maintain current knowledge of advancements in the field of obstetrics and gynecology through continuing education and professional development activities

Requirements:

- Medical degree from an accredited medical school

- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology

- Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of Florida

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Hospitalist-OB preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-stress environment

- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices in obstetrics and gynecology

- Proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare technology
