Job Description:

Our Common Avionics Team is currently seeking a skilled, motivated, and disciplined Electronics Engineer to provide support for avionics sustainment-related engineering projects. This role involves working across a diverse range of over 245 fielded systems, encompassing Navigation, Communication, Safety, and Mission Systems capabilities.

Essential Job Functions:

• Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.
• Review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
• Utilize engineering expertise to perform tasks such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, and acquisition and resource management.
• Analyze, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate software, components, or systems related to the engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems.
• Conduct circuit analysis, technical assessments, and provide component substitution recommendations.

Required Skills:

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
• A Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering/Science discipline, mathematics, or computer science, along with a minimum of 6 years of experience in a related Engineering/Science field, is required.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Three years of experience working with NAVAIR avionics systems.
