Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, reconciling transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)

  • Process accounts payable and receivable

  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations

  • Collaborate with management to support financial planning

  • Handle payroll and tax filings, as needed

  • Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or similar role

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)

  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (but not required)
