Manages a loan receivables portfolio to achieve collection and past due targets and leads a team of Remedial Associates to ensure proper execution of action plans, procedures, and activities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist the Dept. Head in the alignment of strategies through proper execution of action plans to ensure efficient operations.

2. Contribute to the collection and past due targets by managing loan receivables portfolio assigned by the Asst Dept Head

3. Monitor the performance of recovery associates by providing guidance and support in the resolution of day-to-day field operational issues and conflicts to achieve team targets.

4. Work closely with the remedial associates for the prompt resolution of repayment requests, restructuring or compromise, or collection concerns.

5. Communicate professionally and respectfully with the borrower the loan payment status through calls, messages, personal visits to discuss the overdue amounts.

6. Recognize and identify warning signs of problem loan accounts or adverse findings and take immediate action thru restructuring, loan workout, or endorsement to other units to prevent deterioration of loan quality.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Practice fair collection practices and confidentiality of transactions to ensure that the collection and delinquency targets are achieved without challenging the rights of the customer and putting the name of the bank in a bad light.

2. Keep up to date and comply with relevant rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines in loan collections, loan origination, terms and conditions, loan mortgages, legal process, and operational risk and compliance requirements.

3. Facilitate satisfactory and expeditious resolution of all issues, complaints, and concerns raised by the customer or external legal/collection agency.

4. Adhere to bank internal and external rules, regulations, policies and procedures for orderly management of loan collection portfolio.

5. Report and record daily all collection and recovery efforts in the collection tracker or field itinerary report, ensure accurate field report, submit complete documents of voluntary surrender, foreclosed or dacion accounts for turnover to legal or asset management unit.
