JOB SUMMARY / PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- The Loans Bookkeeper handles the daily posting of loan collection payments in the Web Loan System and checks and balances posted payments in the system at the end of the day.
- The Loans Bookkeeper monitors bounced and postdated checks and endorses accounts with new missed payments to the Collection Department.
- The Loans Bookkeeper assists clients with adjustment requests on their due date and endorses the request to the Cash Department.
- The Loans Bookkeeper monitors full payment of accounts and ensures the issuance of a Certificate of Full Payment.
- The Loans Bookkeeper validates loan payment posted to ensure accuracy to the system.
- The Loans Bookkeeper monitors the collection status of loan accounts.
- The Loans Bookkeeper ensures completeness of manual posting in GL net.
- Management:
- Assists client inquiries such as:
- Full Payment Discount
- Due date adjustment in SOA
- SOA concerned with penalties
- Performs other functions as directed by the management from time to time.
- Operations:
- Handles posting of loan payments in the Loan System of the Bank. The other processes aside from posting payments are;
- Applying discount on Unearned Interest
- Waiving of Penalty Charges and other loan charges (if any)
- Reclassification of breakdown of payments.
- Updating of Loan Charges in the SOA
- Recon of payments and charges
- Attends customers questions, requests, and concerns immediately and courteously.
- Facilitates satisfactory resolution to all concerns raised by the client.
- Summarizes companys loan payments to various payment channels
- Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitoring of Certificates for Full Payment, Partial Collateral
Release and Loan Existence and Obligation

QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES:
Education
:
Must possess at least a Bachelors degree in business, finance, economics, accounting management, or marketing degree.
Experience
:
Preferably 1 year of experience in Loan Management, and Bookkeeping from a reputable banking/financial institution.
Others
:
Keen on details, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Good communication skills, good customer service.
