Role Summary
The Process Excellence Analyst is responsible for driving operational productivity across all departments of TRBank through structured process analysis, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and measurable performance improvements.
This is a hands-on transformation role that will perform end-to-end process discovery, run formal Six Sigma projects, document current workflows, identify inefficiencies, quantify waste, redesign processes, and partner with internal IT and external vendors to digitalize high-impact pain points.
The core mandate: Reduce inefficiencies, shorten turnaround times, eliminate waste, and deliver measurable gains in productivity and service quality across the organization.
Business analysis is a secondary function, supporting process optimization and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
A. Process Analysis & Documentation (Primary Function)
- Lead end-to-end process discovery across all bank departments (Accounting, Operations, Loans Marketing, Credit, Collections, ROPA, HR, IT, Branch Operations, etc.).
- Create comprehensive AS-IS process maps, SOP documentation, and swimlane diagrams using BPMN or equivalent standards.
- Conduct time-and-motion and productivity baseline studies to quantify manual effort, hand-offs, delays, and inefficiencies.
- Maintain a centralized repository of approved processes and ensure full version control and governance.
B. Six Sigma / Operational Excellence (Primary Function)
- Apply Lean Six Sigma DMAIC methodology to diagnose root causes, eliminate waste, and redesign processes.
- Run formal Six Sigma projects starting with Accounting (e.g., month-end close cycle, disbursements, reconciliations, reporting).
- Develop measurable KPIs and success metrics (cycle time, error rate, productivity, cost-to-serve).
- Facilitate Kaizen workshops and cross-functional problem-solving sessions.
- Build business cases, quantify improvements, and present results to management and the COO/CEO.
- Track benefits realization, ensuring sustained adoption and measurable operational ROI.
C. Digitalization & Automation Enablement (Secondary Function)
- Identify automation opportunities (workflow automation, RPA, system integration, digitized forms, LOS/LMS touchpoints).
- Work with IT, Digital Transformation, and external vendors to translate improved TO-BE processes into system enhancements.
- Support solution design, change requests, and prioritization of automation initiatives.
- Ensure that redesigned processes are aligned with the capabilities of Core Banking, Loan Origination, Mobile Banking, Data Warehouse, and other digital platforms.
D. Business Analysis Support (Secondary Function)
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements for digital initiatives that arise from process improvements.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for process- or automation-related change.
- Provide feedback loops to ensure systems support optimized workflows.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, IT, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in process analysis, operational excellence, Six Sigma, or process engineering, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Demonstrated experience running Six Sigma Green Belt-level projects with measurable results.
- Strong background in documenting end-to-end processes and driving process reengineering.
- Experience collaborating with IT and vendors for workflow automation or digital transformation.
Certifications (Mandatory / Preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt mandatory.
- Six Sigma Black Belt strong advantage.
- BPM, Agile/Scrum, or Project Management certification is a plus.
Skills
- Mastery of process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Bizagi, ARIS, etc.).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; able to calculate efficiencies, productivity gains, and cost savings.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills; able to operate across all departments.
- Banking operations familiarity is required.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

- Completion of AS-IS and TO-BE process maps for all major departments.
