General Requirements

  • ACCA / CIMA, Degree / Masters in Finance or related field
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in related filed
  • Working experience in an accounting system is mandatory-preferably in MS Dynamics GP Create
  • Hospital experience will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge in Office package (Microsoft Word/Excel)

Job Specification

  • Carry out day-to-day operations of the Accounting and Reporting Department.
  • Develop, implement and maintain system, procedures and policies, and ensure adherence to company guidelines.
  • Keep track of the insurance policies, contracts and agreements of the company.
  • Obtain quotes and prepare comparative for insurance policies renewal.
  • Verification and posting of transactions.
  • Confirm accuracy of general ledger and ensure completion of general ledger reconciliation.
  • Carry out month end and year end procedures
  • Analyze financial date and compare actual performance with the budget or business plan.
  • Prepare, analyze, interpret and ensure accuracy of financial statements, reports and information.
  • Assist in preparing financial budget and capital expenditure budget.
  • Assist with the annual audit.
  • Recording and tracking of assets.
  • Analyzing accounting and reporting of fixed asset data.
  • Keep track of payments relating to fixed asset acquisition and maintenance of the company.
  • Keep track of funds and prepare daily/monthly fund summary.
  • Providing continuous support and guidance to finance personnel.
  • Work closely with other departments directly or indirectly related to finance.
  • Maintain financial files and records.
  • Reconciliation of various units at regular interval.
  • Any other additional responsibility assigned by the HOD from time to time.
