General Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in the field of security, with atleast 2 years in Supervisory position
  • Sound computer skills in MS office programs including excel
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physically fit and flexibility to endure long working hours
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

Job Specification

  • Assist in developing and enforcing security policies and procedures
  • Supervise and mentor security and transport personnel, overseeing hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as necessary
  • Collaborate with the Security Manager to assess operational needs and facilitate effective communication across departments
  • Organize and lead responses to emergencies and alarms
  • Investigate security breaches and document findings for corrective actions
  • Document and report security incidents or concerns to the Security Manager promptly
  • Ensure that all security staff are prepared for emergency situations through drills and training
  • Conduct facility inspections to verify compliance with security policies and regulations
  • Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services to coordinate security operations and responses
  • Respond to hospital emergency codes in accordance with established procedures
  • Assist in managing transport-related regulatory requirements, including insurance and permits
