General Requirements
- Board Certified / Unencumbered License or registration from home country
- Completion of Internal Medicine with Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology
- Minimum 6 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities
- Expertise in chemotherapy
- Ability to manage complex, long-term patient care
- Adaptable and able to work in a multicultural team
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
Job Specification
- Conducts consultations and providing diagnosis, treatment, and management for patients with suspected or confirmed hematologic or oncologic diseases
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (CBCs, bone marrow biopsies, imaging, pathology reports, biomarkers)
- Develop individualized treatment plans (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, radiation referral, transplant referral, supportive care)
- Administer and monitor cancer treatments and blood disorder therapies
- Provide inpatient and outpatient care
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, radiation oncologists, and palliative care
- Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment plans
- Participate in tumor boards and clinical review meetings
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in or support clinical research and trials (where applicable)
- Stay updated with advancements in oncology and hematology
