General Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree/ Masters in Finance/Accounting or any equivalent field
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
  • Knowledge & Experience in Accounting/Finance & HR software
  • In-depth understanding of payroll processes, labour & employment law, and best practices
  • Precise attention to detail, analytical and time management skills

Job Specification

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the payroll accounting department
  • Oversee all employee related payments (ticket, recruitment, income tax, credit schemes, scholarship, pension, accommodation rent & utility related payments, etc.)
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all employee-related contracts and agreements
  • Guarantee accuracy and timeliness of the payroll process and staff-related payments
  • Verify and process doctors professional fees and incentive calculations in a timely manner
  • Maintain payroll records in line with statutory requirements and support internal/external audits
  • Keep up and be competent with legislations impacting payroll
  • Prepare, analyze, interpret, and maintain accurate financial statements and reports related to staff costs and expenses
  • Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department (HOD) as required
